A Daxton Holdings company

We buy pet brands. We don't sell them.

Daxton Digital is a permanent home for small American pet brands. We own and operate Mellow Perro. We are looking for the next one.

The thesis

Pet, and only pet.

Daxton Digital buys small, well-made pet brands and keeps them. We are not a fund, we do not have outside investors, and we are not building toward a sale.

We buy in one category — food, treats, supplements, and everyday pet wellness — because depth beats breadth when you only intend to own a handful of things. We would rather understand one shelf completely than be adequate across five. Category leadership over category expansion.

Every brand we acquire keeps its name, its formulation, and the people who built it. We are buying something that already works. The job is to resource it, not to reinvent it.

We are patient. Legacy is built one decade at a time.

The portfolio

One brand operating. We are in no hurry to add the second.

Mellow Perro

Operating since 2023

All-natural dog treats and supplements. Made in the USA, with natural preservatives and no artificial colors, flavors, or GMOs. Built on a simple premise: most dog treats are formulated for cost, not for the animal. Flip the bag over and read the label.

The approach

We run the brands ourselves.

A brand joining Daxton Digital keeps its identity and gains an operating system. We have spent three years building shared infrastructure so that a small brand can run at a standard it could not afford on its own — creative production, customer care, retention, fulfillment, and reporting, on one stack across every brand we own.

It is the reason we can buy a brand doing modest revenue and not need to cut it to make the numbers work. The overhead is already built.

01 — Creative

Content at volume

Product photography, social, and video produced continuously rather than in campaigns. A brand that could afford four assets a month gets forty.

02 — Customer

Service and retention

Every inbox answered same-day against the brand's own voice and policies. Lifecycle email and subscription flows built once and tuned per brand.

03 — Operations

Supply and fulfillment

Shared vendor relationships, inventory planning, and freight. Manufacturing partners stay where they are — we do not move production to cut a point of margin.

04 — Reporting

One set of numbers

Unit economics, cohort retention, and contribution margin reported the same way across the portfolio, weekly. Decisions get made on the same evidence every time.

Who you would be selling to

Ty Debique

Founder & Managing Partner

I have spent twenty-six years in financial services, most of it leading and coaching teams of advisors. That work is almost entirely about one thing: taking responsibility for relationships someone else built, and not breaking them.

It is the same problem as buying a brand from the person who started it. The formulation, the manufacturer, the customers who have been reordering for four years — those are somebody's life's work before they are ever an asset. I am not interested in acquiring something in order to strip it.

I created Mellow Perro because I read the labels on what I was feeding Baxter and did not like the answer. I intend to own it for the rest of my life, and to own several more like it.
